GEP Acquires Plastics Filaments Business from Lenzing AG

In an effort to streamline its portfolio and return to its core business, Lenzing AG has sold its plastics filaments holdings to a group led by Austria's Global Equity Partners. The consortium of private investors gains 100% control of four Lenzing portfolio companies. Lenzing's plastic filaments business includes the following four portfolio companies: Pedex GmbH and Hahl Filaments GmbH (Germany), Hahl Filaments s.r.o. (Czech Republic), and Hahl Inc. (USA).
