Demeter Partners supports the Foundation Energies pour le Monde

Demeter Partners has got involved in the action carried out by the Foundation Énergies pour le Monde through a sponsorship of its project in Senegal. Founded in 1990, the Foundation Énergies pour le Monde’s mission is to promote the access to electricity in rural areas of developing countries, using renewable energies: solar photovoltaic, wind, biomass and micro hydro. It is currently involved in projects in West Africa (Senegal, Burkina Faso), in Madagascar and Southeast Asia.

Kepler Capital Markets names new senior management

Kepler Capital Markets (Kepler) is pleased to announce the appointment of Pascal Marionneau as Global Head of the Credit ASG business line. Credit ASG will focus on Illiquid Assets held on the balance sheets of diverse financial institutions. Alongside Origination and Distribution, the activity will also encompass Restructuring and Advisory. Pascal previously held the position of Trading and Risk Advisor for the Global Capital Markets Department across business lines at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking.

Closing of Kepler Capital Markets Capital Raise

Kepler Capital Markets (KCM) is pleased to announce that the transaction to raise new capital and bring onboard new minority shareholders is closed as of Friday, 14th October. The final shareholdings in KCM are as follows: Staff & Management 53%, BlackFin Capital Partners 21%, La Caisse des Dépôts 14%, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa 7%, Banca Leonardo 5%. The shareholder equity of the group is € 84m which gives KCM a Basel II ratio of over 40%. The group has no debt. The equity brokerage business of Banca Leonardo will be integrated into KCM’s Italian operation from Monday, 17th October.

Demeter Partners acquires 14% of French engineering company ACH

The private equity group Demeter Partners, which is specialized in cleantech technologies, acquired a 14% stake in the French engineering company ACH. This transaction marks the 11th investment of the FCPR Demeter 2 fund. Demeter Partners joins the existing investors Alto Invest and SFFP as well as the the company's founders, who entered ACH in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The company foundes remain the majority shareholders.
