German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association
The German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, or Bundesverband Deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften (BVK), is the association of private equity and venture capital companies operating in Germany and is based in Berlin. It was founded on 8 December 1989 after a merger of the original BVK and the German Venture Capital Association (DVCV). As of January 2009 BVK has 217 full members (private equity and venture capital companies) and 103 associate members (e.g. law firms, auditors, etc.).
